Frequently asked questions

What is a CFD?

It is a contract to exchange only the price difference, without buying the physical asset. Trading gold does not make the gold yours. You can take a position whether the price rises or falls, but losses come in the same size.

Is this site the official Vantage site?

No. We are a community that provides guidance on Vantage Markets in English and introduces sign-up links. Account opening, identity verification, deposits and withdrawals, and trading are all handled directly by Vantage, the broker, and we are not involved. So values such as conditions or amounts must be checked again in Vantage's official information.

Is Vantage a true ECN broker?

The official guidance explains that "ECN-style" trading is offered through the Raw ECN account. An ECN (Electronic Communication Network) is a method that gathers quotes from several sources and matches them automatically. It states that this account features institutional-grade spreads (the difference between the bid and ask prices) and a commission-based structure. However, it also notes that Vantage itself does not operate as an exchange or a direct market participant.

Does Vantage lend money to trade with?

No. The official guidance states that Vantage is not a financial institution and therefore does not provide loans or credit. It explains that it only provides the programs used for trading. If anyone approaches you offering to lend you money, be sure to check this against the official guidance.

Where are the Vantage trading servers located?

According to the official guidance, the trading servers are located in London and New York, among other places. It states that in addition to these two main servers, the infrastructure has been extended to data centers in Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taipei. It says the servers are operated in partnership with Equinix. The speed you actually experience may vary depending on your internet environment.

Can Vantage promotions be joined from Korea as well?

Whether a promotion is available may differ by country and region. On the eligibility check page in Vantage's official guidance, choose the promotion you want and enter your details to see whether you can take part. Each promotion has a set limit on what one eligible client can receive, and promotions are divided into those that can be used together and those that cannot be used at the same time, so check the terms and conditions of each. We do not list terms or amounts separately, so please follow Vantage's guidance or its customer center for the final check.

Where do I ask about account or deposit problems?

The official guidance states that the Vantage support team strives to provide customer support 24 hours a day, all year round. You can use live chat via the chat icon on the Vantage website, or send an email to support@vantagemarkets.com. The time it takes to get a reply may vary depending on the situation. Our community does not handle inquiries on your behalf, so please contact the broker directly about account problems.
